Halo Living LLC ("Halo Living," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect Personal Information when you visit or use shop.auromise.com (the "Site"), purchase our products, request customization, contact us, or interact with our business, analytics, advertising, and social-platform services.

This Policy describes our current practices. Some features are optional or may be enabled in the future; where a service is described as "when enabled," it applies only when we activate that service.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of Personal Information:

  • Contact and account information: name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping address, and information you provide when contacting us.
  • Order and transaction information: products purchased, order details, delivery information, payment status, transaction identifiers, and information needed for fulfillment, support, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal compliance.
  • Payment information: full payment-card details are entered into and processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal, or another applicable payment provider. Halo Living LLC does not receive or store full payment-card numbers. We may receive limited transaction information such as payment status, payment method type, or provider-generated transaction identifiers.
  • Customization information: a pet's name, memorial text, preferences, special instructions, and photos or other files that you voluntarily upload for customization, design review, production, delivery, or support.
  • Communications: messages, attachments, and contact details that you send to us through email, WhatsApp, website forms, or other support channels.
  • Device and usage information: browser type, IP address, approximate location, device identifiers, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions collected through cookies, pixels, tags, server-side events, and similar technologies, subject to your choices and applicable law.
  • Business-platform and measurement information: information from our own business accounts and integrations, such as published-content status, Pin or post performance, audience and reach metrics, campaign reports, website traffic, search performance, product-feed status, catalog diagnostics, and Merchant Center product information.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use Personal Information to:

  • operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
  • process and fulfill orders, customization requests, design reviews, production, delivery, returns, and customer support;
  • communicate with you about orders, support requests, and services you request;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents;
  • measure website, content, catalog, and campaign performance;
  • improve our products, services, content, and customer experience;
  • manage our own business accounts and publish or analyze approved business content;
  • comply with tax, accounting, legal, regulatory, and law-enforcement obligations; and
  • send marketing communications or provide relevant advertising where permitted and subject to your choices.

3. Service Providers and Disclosures

We may disclose Personal Information to service providers that process information on our behalf or to other parties when permitted or required by law. Depending on the service enabled, these may include:

  • Shopify and payment providers: store hosting, checkout, payment processing, order management, security, and related commerce services. Payment providers process payment-card details under their own privacy and security practices.
  • Production, fulfillment, shipping, and customer-support providers: to make, personalize, deliver, and support products you request.
  • Google services: Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Merchant Center, Google Ads measurement or conversion tools when enabled, and YouTube Analytics. These services may process website, search, product-feed, account-level, campaign, and performance information for reporting, diagnostics, measurement, and optimization.
  • Meta technologies: the Facebook and Instagram Shopify integration, Meta Pixel, Conversions API, or related tools may process limited device, browsing, conversion, and advertising-event information for measurement, attribution, and advertising purposes, subject to applicable consent and privacy settings.
  • Pinterest technologies: Pinterest business integrations may process approved content, catalog and product-feed information, account-level performance information, and limited website or conversion-event information for content operations, catalog management, measurement, and reporting, subject to applicable consent and privacy settings.
  • Judge.me: to display product reviews and operate the review service. The current Judge.me Reviews web pixel is configured as always on in our Shopify customer-events settings and may process limited event or device information in accordance with the provider's settings and policies.
  • Securify and security providers: to help detect abuse, protect the Site, and support security operations. These services may process technical information such as IP address, device, browser, or security-event information.
  • WhatsApp and communications providers: to provide the chat or communication feature when you choose to contact us through it. Messages and contact details may be processed by the relevant provider.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: accountants, lawyers, auditors, insurers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement authorities, or other parties where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.

We require service providers to process information for authorized business purposes and to use appropriate safeguards, subject to their own applicable privacy policies and legal obligations.

4. Connected Platforms and API Data

We may use official APIs and business integrations to manage our own business accounts, publish approved content, review performance, and maintain product and catalog information. Depending on the services enabled, these integrations may include Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, YouTube Analytics, and Google Merchant Center.

  • Social-platform data: may include business-account profile information, published-content status, post or Pin performance, audience and reach metrics, and other account-level information made available by the platform.
  • Advertising and analytics data: may include campaign performance, conversion and traffic metrics, aggregated or pseudonymous identifiers, and reporting information made available by the relevant platform.
  • Search and website data: may include aggregate traffic, search queries, indexing status, and site-performance information from Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
  • Merchant Center data: may include product, price, availability, feed, catalog, diagnostics, policy-status, and performance information used to check and improve product listings.

Our planned initial use of Google Ads and Google Merchant Center integrations is read-only reporting, diagnostics, and optimization support. We do not use these integrations to change advertising budgets, launch campaigns, or alter product feeds unless you separately authorize that action. For social platforms, publishing or scheduling is limited to content and links that you approve. We do not use these integrations to read private messages or access information that is not necessary for the approved business function.

5. Data We Do Not Provide to AI Systems

We do not provide customer-uploaded pet photos, private messages, full customer order records, full payment-card details, passwords, API keys, OAuth client secrets, or access tokens to AI systems for analysis. We may use limited, aggregated, pseudonymous, or de-identified business-performance information for reporting and operational analysis, as described in this Policy and subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Lawful Bases for Processing

For individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions where similar requirements apply, we process Personal Information on the following legal bases, as applicable:

  • Contract: to process orders, customization requests, design reviews, fulfillment, delivery, and customer support.
  • Legal obligation: to maintain tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, and legally required business records.
  • Consent: for non-essential cookies, analytics, advertising, remarketing, and other technologies where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time through available privacy controls or by contacting us.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate and secure the Site, prevent abuse, improve services, analyze business performance, and maintain our own business accounts, where those interests are not overridden by applicable rights.

7. International Data Transfers

Halo Living LLC is based in the United States. To operate our business, we may use personnel, contractors, design or production partners, customer-support providers, and technical service providers located in the United States and other countries. Depending on their role and need to know, these parties may access limited Personal Information for customer support, customization and design coordination, production, fulfillment, security, analytics, platform management, or other services described in this Policy.

The countries involved may vary as our personnel and service providers change. Where required by applicable law, you may contact us at care@auromise.com for additional information about relevant transfer locations and safeguards.

Personal Information may therefore be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries with different data-protection laws. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as an applicable adequacy decision, a valid certification mechanism, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another legally recognized transfer mechanism.

8. Cookies, Pixels, and Consent

We use cookies, pixels, tags, server-side events, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, understand usage, measure campaigns, support relevant advertising, protect security, and maintain integrations. Some technologies are essential, while others are optional.

We use Shopify's native Customer Privacy and Cookie Banner features to present available categories such as Required, Personalization, Analytics, and Marketing. Where required by applicable law, we obtain and record consent before using non-essential technologies, and we provide controls to review or change choices through the Site's Cookie Preferences or similar privacy controls.

When Google, Meta, Pinterest, or other optional tags are enabled, they may be limited or disabled when a visitor declines the relevant category, subject to the technical behavior of the applicable integration and the law that applies. Some third-party application pixels may be configured as always on by their providers. The Judge.me Reviews pixel is currently configured as always on, as disclosed above; we will review and adjust integrations when required by applicable law.

9. Behavioral Advertising and Sale or Sharing

We may use online identifiers, device information, browsing activity, and advertising-event information to measure and improve marketing campaigns and, where permitted, show more relevant advertising.

We do not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. However, the disclosure of certain online identifiers, device information, browsing activity, or advertising-event information to advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising may constitute "sharing" under California law.

Where required by law, you may opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information through the Site's Your Privacy Choices control, Global Privacy Control, or by contacting care@auromise.com with the subject line "Your Privacy Choices." We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

10. California Privacy Choices

If the California Consumer Privacy Act or related California law applies to our business, California residents may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain Personal Information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information; to limit certain uses of sensitive Personal Information where applicable; and to receive equal service and pricing when exercising privacy rights.

To submit a request, use the Site's Your Privacy Choices control when available or contact care@auromise.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We honor valid Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your Personal Information; to withdraw consent; to object to or restrict certain processing; to opt out of certain advertising or sharing activities; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory or regulatory authority.

To exercise a privacy right, contact care@auromise.com. Authorized agents may contact us where permitted by law and with appropriate proof of authorization. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

12. Storage, Retention, and Data Deletion

We retain Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including order fulfillment, customer support, accounting, dispute resolution, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by information type and the reason it was collected.

You may request deletion of Personal Information by emailing care@auromise.com. We will review and process a valid request in accordance with applicable law. Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law, including transaction records needed for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided Personal Information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps.

15. AI-Assisted Content and Operations

We may use AI tools to assist with drafting marketing content, organizing SEO work, reviewing public or business-level performance metrics, and planning internal operations. AI-assisted materials are reviewed in accordance with our operating procedures before public use. We identify AI-generated creative materials as AI-generated in our publishing workflow and comply with additional platform-specific disclosure requirements.

As stated above, customer-uploaded pet photos, private messages, full customer order records, full payment-card details, passwords, API keys, OAuth client secrets, and access tokens are not provided to AI systems for analysis.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technologies, legal requirements, or business practices. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use Personal Information, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
